By downloading or using LightDocs, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the app.
1. Purpose
LightDocs is a mobile app to compress and convert PDFs and photos, open and share them. The publisher is PikScan.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use LightDocs on your devices, subject to these terms and store rules (Google Play, App Store).
3. Free service and ads
LightDocs is free and may show ads (Google AdMob), including full-screen or rewarded formats. A Premium purchase (notably on iOS) may remove ads. No “zero ads” guarantee is given for the free tier.
4. Your content
- You are solely responsible for files you import, transform, store or share.
- You must have the necessary rights and comply with applicable law.
- PikScan does not access locally stored content in normal operation as described in the privacy policy.
5. Availability
Compression and conversion are provided “as is”. Always verify important files before sending or archiving.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not reverse-engineer beyond legal limits, disrupt ad services, use LightDocs unlawfully, or bypass security measures.
7. Intellectual property
LightDocs, its name, logo and interfaces belong to PikScan or its licensors.
8. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, LightDocs is provided without warranties of any kind.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PikScan is not liable for indirect damages or local data loss (back up important documents).
10. Termination
You may stop using LightDocs anytime by uninstalling it. We may stop distributing or updating the app.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
